Rajasthan Resorts & Camps, a brain child of Mrs. Ranjna Mudgill, the first women entrepreneur who started the First Ever camp at Sam in the middle of Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Score of Indian and Foreign tourist used to visit this site on a day visit basis as there were no facilities to stay overnight. Mrs. Mudgill, despite being women, took the challenge and started Dune Safari Camp with just 15 tents to start with. There was no electricity; the nearest water source is 35 kilometers away. Since then she never looked back. Today Dune Safari Camp, with its 30 cottages, electricity back ups and running water, is the best and only permanent Camp in the area.
